Source of Eternal strength and youth,
Nurturing nine worlds filled with immortal legends

A deity feared and adored by all, Freya
had to change the course of destiny

The solution was to gather a piece of each of Yggradsil's roots
Reunited, they would give her access to a powerful spell which would give her the possibility to change one of the three aspects of time

The first root originates from the well of Urd in Asgard,
which is guarded by the three norns
The second root comes from Mimir's well, located in Jotunheim
It is said the fountain is guarded by giants
The third root comes from the condemned world, Nilfheim
A giant snake is healously guarding the root

Resolute, she went to Yggdrasil's first root,
Guarded by the three norns; witches, weavers of destinies
They cam to an agreement
The norns accepted the deal in exchange of a gift for each of them

The first one asked for a flute built by the high elves, elder of illusions
The second asked for a full pint of the best man-made ale in Midgard
The third gave her a lantern and aksed to bring back the eternal flame,
which is only found in the world of fire, Muspelheim

To help in their quest, Freya chose from the dead the lost soulds of wandering, restless warriors.
For their services, she made them a promise
that she would take them to Walhalla

To get a chance at redemption,
new life was granted to them
